Welcome to Monty's Home Page

'Monty' is my 2003 Land Rover Defender 110 TD5, bought in March 2009 from the wonderful James French in Standlake, Oxfordshire.

I've built this site to track what we do with - and to - Monty over the years we own him. I'm going to build a 'faults and fixes' database so that any work I do on Monty will be accessible to and searchable by visitors and I hope to open this up to submissions from other Landy owners so that it builds into a valuable resource.

For those that are wondering, 'Monty' neither to Viscount Montgomery, Monty Python, the Full Monty, or a well-known TV gardener. It's simply a name that sprang into our minds within minutes of test-driving and has stuck firmly.

I've already got a few bits and pieces to put up in the database and have photos as well so hopefully there'll be some real content here very soon.
